Guided trail runs on routes we found and scouted ourselves, through mountains most people never get to experience.

A small group of runners from all over the world. Our Campers often arrive not knowing anyone, and stay in touch long after.

Plant-based breakfasts, lunches, and dinners cooked fresh each day by our in-house Head Chef, and served around one big table.

Our Camps

Madeira

Experience the beautiful and diverse island of Madeira in a truly unique way. Run mountain ridges, levada paths, and coastal trails with our Local Legends, the guides who have run almost every trail on the island! Post-run, relax by the pool in our traditional Portugese property.

Georgia

Between exploring Tbilisi’s trails under the summer sun, to crossing glaciers at altitude in the Caucasus Mountains, Georgia has all the wild beauty, challenge, and culture needed to make it a truly adventurous and unforgettable Trails & Roots Trail Camp destination!

Slovenia

Discover the Julian Alps at their very best. Run through gorges, across rocky peaks, and out onto high alpine plateaux on routes our local Slovenian guides say no other running trip finds! Immerse yourself in crystal-clear alpine lakes for a post-run cool down!

Trail Running Cape Town

Cape Town

Mountains, ocean, and city all in one week. Run the trails of Cape Town’s National Parks with local guides, take a running tour of the city, try a surf lesson, and meet the penguins at Boulder’s Beach!

Thailand

Explore the hidden, quiet trails around Chiang Mai and Doi Suthep, visit historic temples and bustling markets, and spend a day learning to cook Thai food at an organic farm! Unwind by the pool at our traditional Thai villa.

Chamonix

Run in the shadow of Mont Blanc and take on segments of the famous UTMB/CCC course with Coach Emily Schmitz, a UTMB podium finisher who calls the valley home! Post-run, unwind in the hot tub at our alpine chalet.

Slide

Trail Camps are more than just holidays – they are life-changing experiences that have taught me so much about myself.

If you’re feeling nervous about signing up for Trail Camp, feel the nerves & do it anyway!

Sometimes, the best adventures start with a simple “Why not?”
